Join THE DOING CIRCLE member Alison Swift Packard, MD, Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School. Former Board Member of Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts for an evening talk on "All Things Menopause." Alison will draw on over twenty years of experience as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist and as a woman in midlife to lead us in a discussion on menopause and its many complexities. Come with questions about hormone replacement therapy, estrogen patches, supplements, and new drugs. She'll discuss hot flashes, mood changes, sleep disruption, and many of the other changes that occur as hormone levels change and women pass through the different stages of menopause.
This event will be held at a member's home in Chestnut Hill. The address will be sent in the confirmation email the week before the event.
Kelly Brotzman, Executive Director of the Prison Book Program will be speaking as well to educate members about one of our nonprofit partners.
