Join THE DOING CIRCLE for a morning of service and connection at Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in Boston. Serving nearly 100,000 healthy and hearty meals each year, Rosie’s Place relies on volunteer groups to help provide nourishment, dignity, and kindness to every guest who walks through their doors.
Our group will take part in the Dining Room Catering Program, preparing and serving lunch to guests. Rosie’s Place staff will design the menu, purchase ingredients, and guide us through each step of meal prep and service—no kitchen experience required! Just come ready to roll up your sleeves, follow directions, and work together to make a meaningful impact.
After the shift, we'll have lunch together and reflect on the experience.
We will also offer carpooling from Newton.
