Join TDC member, Andi, for this special evening! Connect with your creativity in this relaxing and engaging workshop, where you'll make unique, one-of-a-kind prints using gelli plates! This experimental and accessible printing technique requires no press, making it perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.

Throughout the evening, you'll learn the basics of printing, stencils, stamps and layering while embracing the beauty of happy accidents. This class is all about exploration—leave perfectionism behind and enjoy the process of making art in a supportive environment.

Note: We’ll be working with acrylic paints, which are permanent and may stain clothing. Please dress accordingly or bring an apron to protect your clothes.

The mission of the Prison Book Program is to support people in prison by sending them free books and print resources that meet their specific needs and interests. Prisoners write into the program with specific requests and PBP volunteers do their best to fulfill them. Volunteering usually includes a “job” such as picking books, invoicing, packing and/or quality control. This is an extremely rewarding volunteer activity - don't miss out!
